Ruth Lieberherr is a dancer, yoga teacher and visual artist. Having danced and painted all her life, she became inspired by Butoh dancer Maureen Fleming. Ruth’s fluid, graceful and spiritual movement is reflected in her liturgical dance with Skyloom. With her daughter, flutist Andrea Lieberherr Douglass, she created a special improvisation for “Veils”, a touchstone video produced by Colorsinmotion (R) for October 2013.
In June 2018 Ruth created aerial and partner yoga choreography for "Floating", a touchstone video produced by Colorsinmotion (R). Ruth was partnered by her husband Karl Lieberherr, violin music by Andrea Lieberherr Douglass, hand-painted silks by Linda DeHart, videography by Christopher Graefe.
